My recent stay at Valpre was truly enjoyable. The courtyard view from my room was absolutely delightful and provided a serene backdrop throughout my stay. The modern rooms were comfortable and had a fresh, updated feel. I also appreciated the fact that the hotel is located in a quiet area, surrounded by a beautiful park and greenery. The sustainable practices of the hotel, including the vast garden and mini-golf, were an added bonus. I highly recommend Valpre for anyone visiting Lyon on a tight budget.

Expect basic and indifference and you will be satisfied. The breakfast was okay, however. This hotel appears to be a conference centre and seems geared for low to mid tier conference clientele.

There was no reception after 22:00. The breakfast buffet was very limited and the bathrooms could be cleaner. Disappointed comparing reality with pictures from the web.

We had a peaceful stay at this hotel, enjoying the clean rooms and the nice view over the park. The family rooms were spacious and allowed us to have our own space while still being together. We appreciated the convenience of having a kettle in the room. The hotel is also easy to drive to and offers secure parking at no extra charge. The surrounding green area is beautiful and great for walks. Despite the limitations in nearby restaurants, the hotel still provided a satisfactory experience. I would recommend this hotel for a stopover in Lyon with a car.

Absence of in-house restraunts. They were not prepared for the snow - could not bring up the taxis for pick up.

the location in the countryside offered a peaceful and scenic escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The hotel grounds were well-maintained and provided a lovely view from my room. Secondly, the staff were friendly and accommodating, making me feel welcome throughout my stay. The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, with enough space to relax and unwind. Lastly, the breakfast provided was a highlight, with a variety of delicious options to start my day off right.

All in all, my experience at this hotel was fantastic and I couldn't find any faults.

The hotel was good, it was clean and it was in a quiet area. It wasn´t amazing but if you need somewhere to stay for one or two night this hotel will do the job. It was a good price and the breakfast was included. It was quite warm in the room. The breakfast was good. Overall, it was a good experience.

They didn´t speak English or Spanish, just French. So it was a challenge asking for a hairdryer (which they didn´t have). But it is fair enough, if we are in France they doný have to speak a different language. Besides this, the staff was very helpful and tried their best to understand.

Cleanliness and surroundings were most pleasant. The room was a little small but very comfortable.

On arrival the staff we saw did not speak english and the restrant was not open for an evening meal which meant we had to leave to find our food. When we checked out the guy on reception spoke perfect english and was most helpful. Would stay again but would check first if evening meal would be available.

The hotel has an old appearance and looks like a rest house. The metro station was about 1 Km far from the hotel (on foot) and to reach the hotel you have to walk up a steep climb.
